The Farmer’s Daughter

First and foremost, this is hands down my favorite breakfast spot. The food is fresh, and the ever changing menu is always unique and creative. This was my first time visiting their new Sudbury location. It definitely was out of the way for me, but I wanted to see how the atmosphere compared to their Easton location.

The atmosphere was gorgeous! Beautiful windows, and high ceilings with exposed pipes gave an overall industrial feel. I love how this contrasted with the over arching rustic/farm theme. The menu was essentially the same as their other location which was totally fine by me. I got the french toast which was a mountain of bread and syrup– way too much for me to eat in one sitting! My friend ordered the benny and yes, we did split pancakes…don’t judge. The food was as excellent as ever.

The menu design is very straightforward! High contrast and to the point. Nothing to write home about. I’m thinking this was intentional as to not pull away from the stunning restaurant atmosphere. Though I do wish the design had a bit more personality to it, ya know, like the food!
